Qualifications

• Requires engineering degree from an approved curriculum, with satisfactory standing by the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
• Alternative: graduation from an engineering or related science curriculum and passing the 8-hour FE examination.
• Possession of an Engineering-in-Training certificate issued under the Texas Engineering Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Assist management and delivery of wastewater CIP projects, including lift stations and force mains.
• Support compliance with EPA deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Review CIP/interagency design submittals and RFIs.
• Respond to technical inquiries from CIP teams, contractors, and staff.
• Represent WWOPS at meetings, field visits, and site visits.
• Coordinate NOAs with Capital Projects team to prevent delays.
• Maintain project documentation and related records.

ABET-accredited engineering degree

Engineering degree or related science with FE exam
