Job summary

A reputable civil engineering firm in Houston is seeking a Graduate Engineer to provide engineering services for municipal projects, particularly in the Wastewater Operations division. The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering and has passed the FE Exam in Texas. Qualifications

• Must have passed the FE Exam in Texas or be capable of passing it within the first six months.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff, property owners, and permit applicants.
• Experience with wastewater collection systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site engineering services to the City of Houston.
• Assist Project Manager(s) in engineering design support for municipal projects.
• Conduct on-site observation of construction progress and coordinate with contractors.
