HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking an Associate Graduate Engineer to design systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects. You will gain exposure across electrical, structural, civil, and construction challenges from design through closeout.

The role provides training in industry-standard software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS) and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Offices nationwide, travel typically under 25%.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• US driver’s license and work authorization.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical skills and familiarity with Office365.
• 2D CAD software knowledge (AutoCAD or similar).
• familiarity with remote communication software.

Responsabilités

• Design engineering systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects.
• Develop creative solutions for electrical, structural, civil, and construction challenges.
• Own all phases of the design lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
• Prepare detailed engineering documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS and asset management platforms.
• Analyze information from surveys, atlas data, field sketches, and datasheets.
• Manage time and workloads to meet milestones.
• Conduct field walkdowns with staff, clients, and authorities.
• Travel as needed, typically <25%.
