Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking an Associate Graduate Engineer to design overhead and subsurface utility systems. This entry-level role leverages ABET-accredited training to develop solutions across electrical, structural, civil, and construction domains.

You will work through the design lifecycle from initiation to closeout at multiple offices nationwide. Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering, access to EIT (preferred), and 0–2 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering or related field
• EIT certification preferred
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Design engineering systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects
• Develop solutions for electrical, structural, civil, and construction challenges
• Manage all phases of design lifecycle from initiation to closeout
• Prepare engineering documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS and asset management platforms
• Analyze topographical surveys, utility atlas data, field sketches and datasheets
• Coordinate with teams to hit project milestones
• Conduct field walkdowns with stakeholders and partners
• Travel typically less than 25%
