Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking an Associate Graduate Engineer for multiple locations. The role designs overhead and subsurface utility systems, developing solutions across electrical, civil, and construction disciplines.

You will produce documents in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS, engage with teams, and gain exposure from initiation to closeout. This is an entry-level opportunity with growth toward professional licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related degree from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT Certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• US driver's license and US work authorization.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong Office365 skills and familiarity with remote collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD (AutoCAD or similar) for layout drawings.
• Ability to learn quickly on in-process projects.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering and construction documents (AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS).
• Manage project milestones and schedule commitments.
• Collaborate with internal staff and clients across disciplines.
• Contribute to project closeout and lifecycle documentation.
• Support site walks and field data collection as needed.
• Travel typically less than 25% for project work.
