Ulteig is seeking talented Graduate Engineer candidates to join our Grid Modernization team to develop and execute Medium Voltage Distribution Grid Modernization work. Qualifications

• ABET-accredited program or equivalent required.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• Experience with utilities is preferred.
• Must be analytical, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with staff, management, clients and agencies.
• Experience with Distribution Load Flow software such as DNV GL Synergi Electric, Milsoft Windmil, or CYME Dist preferred.
• Experience with Distributed Energy Resource (DER) interconnections, such as Battery Energy Storage Systems or PV, preferred.
• Complete tasks under supervision and actively manage workload.
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans for grid modernization solutions including project design criteria and distribution planning.
• Perform load flow studies, DER interconnection reviews, and protection coordination studies.
• Coordinate technology research, client contact, project scoping, estimating and scheduling.
• Review project drawings, calculations and specifications under supervision.
