Job summary

Dashiell Corporation, a leading provider of technical and construction services for critical electric infrastructure, invites a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a project team and perform engineering and design duties under close supervision. You will gain hands-on experience across civil and structural design, wind load calculations, and engineering standards.

As part of a broader power-focused portfolio, you will learn to apply NESC, IEEE, ANSI, AISC and ACI while supporting field visits,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university; EIT or ability to obtain EIT within one year of hire.
Power-focused background preferred.
Prior internship and/or related work experience in the power field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with a project team to create or modify civil and structural design documents and drawings under supervision.
Perform engineering support tasks such as wind load calculations and structural analysis with minimal supervision.
Learn and apply standards including NESC, IEEE, ANSI, AISC and ACI; use the document management system.
Spend time at job sites to gain hands-on knowledge in substation construction and design.
Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work and communicate issues and solutions.
