Job summary

Dashiell Corporation in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join a project team and perform engineering and design duties under supervision. You will help create wiring diagrams, BOMs, and design documents for projects while learning industry standards and field practices.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and EIT eligibility within one year of hire; prior internship in power is preferred. Some travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; power focus preferred.
• EIT certificate or ability to obtain within one year of hire; internship in power field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create design documents, drawings, and wiring diagrams for substation projects under supervision.
• Perform power system calculations and support relay coordination and grounding studies under supervision.
• Learn and apply NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEEE/ANSI standards on project work.
• Travel to project sites and assist with field markup and as-built drawings.
