Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Customer Experience Research Intern to join the Customer Insights & Measurement (CIM) Team. The role offers options to work in Bloomington, IL or Dunwoody, GA, with remote or hybrid arrangements.

You will perform quantitative and qualitative research, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable insights to improve customer experience. Internship runs June 2, 2027 to August 11, 2027 with pay and stipend.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in a research-related field.
• Experience scoping, designing, and conducting quantitative and qualitative research.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peer researchers to understand research needs and develop/execute research efforts.
• Execute new primary quantitative or qualitative research to understand customer needs and improve the customer experience.
• Quantitative researchers: Perform statistical analyses on data sets to explain customer behavior.
• Qualitative researchers: Use qualitative methods to understand the why behind customer behavior and build customer stories.
• Communicate complex analyses and insights in an actionable way to business partners.
• Collaborate within a fast-paced team and manage multiple projects.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. immediately; no visa sponsorship.
