State Farm is offering a summer internship in Financial Operations, Bloomington, IL. Interns will work on finance, planning & analysis, and procurement projects across multiple teams within a Fortune 50 company.

Program emphasizes mentoring from executives and interns will gain hands-on experience with data analytics, forecasting, and reporting. Hybrid work, 38.75 hours/week, June 2–Aug 11, 2027, with pay at $28/hr plus a $2,000 stipend.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (overall and in major).
• Pursuing degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Must be enrolled in at least one course through the internship and eligible for employment within 1–2 years.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data and present insights to leadership.
• Review and improve financial operations processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, data analytics, procurement and business strategy.
• Develop forecasting models and cost/benefit analyses.
• Create visualizations with Power BI and Excel and contribute to storytelling.
• Perform statistical analyses to uncover patterns and insights in datasets.
• Assist with sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, and procurement process improvements.
• Analyze and update reporting and process flows.
