Job summary

Walter P Moore seeks a graduating civil engineer to join our Construction Engineering Services team within the Structures Group. The role supports Project Managers on projects for contractors, steel fabricators and erectors, performing structural validation and developing construction sequencing for complex structures.

Requirements include a Master's in Civil Engineering (Structural), EIT, strong communication, and experience with Tekla, BIM and SAP 2000.

Qualifications

• Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural.
• EIT required.
• Experience with Tekla and BIM preferred.
• Strong steel design and structural analysis skills.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate structures at different stages of construction.
• Develop construction sequencing for complex structures.
• Design temporary structures to support construction and steel connections.
• Support Project Manager on projects for contractors, steel fabricators, and erectors.
