Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Construction Engineering team. You will focus on steel design, connection design, and erection sequencing analysis for major projects across the United States and internationally.

Ideal candidates have 6–9 years of experience, a Master’s in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, and a PE license or path to licensure within 6 months. Experience with Tekla, BIM, and SAP 2000 is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years’ experience in steel design, steel connection design and erection sequencing analysis.
• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferred.
• E. license within your residing state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plus.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience required.
• Candidates must be proactive with strong organizational and communication skills and client-service orientation.
