Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Construction Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis, with a proactive, client-focused approach.

Licensure as a PE and experience with Tekla/BIM and SAP 2000 are highly valued. Hybrid work setup offers in-office and remote collaboration on major national projects.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years’ experience in steel design, steel connection design and erection sequencing analysis.
• Supervision of junior staff and career growth shown.
• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural preferred.
• Professional Engineer license in residing state or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with Tekla and BIM is a plus; SAP 2000 modeling experience required.
• Proactive, organized, with strong written and verbal communication; client-focused.

Responsibilities

• Join Walter P Moore’s Construction Engineering team as a Senior Engineer.
• Lead steel design and erection sequencing analyses for major projects across the US and internationally.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and coordinate with architects, developers and contractors.
• Deliver proactive client service and design solutions with a can-do attitude.
