Job summary

Walter P Moore seeks a Graduate Engineer to join our Construction Engineering Services team within the Structures Group. You will support project managers on analysis, sequencing, temporary structures, and steel connection design for diverse projects.

The role requires strong communication, a Master’s in Structural Civil Engineering, and experience with Tekla/BIM and SAP2000. Hybrid work with travel to offices is available.

Qualifications

• Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural.
• EIT licensure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Tekla and BIM preferred.
• Demonstrated strength in steel design, steel connections and structural analysis.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience.
• Work experience/internships with contractors, steel fabricators, or steel erectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate structures at different construction stages.
• Develop construction sequencing for complex structures.
• Design temporary structures to support construction.
• Perform steel connection design and structural analysis.
