Job summary

OHM Advisors in Midland, Texas is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a collaborative team. You will assist with planning and design efforts, contribute to technical analyses, and work with senior staff to deliver practical, people-centered solutions for clients.

Key tasks include data collection, design calculations, preparing plans and cost estimates, and using AutoCAD or MicroStation. A Civil Engineering degree is required; EIT certification is preferred, as is internship or co-op

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the collection and analysis of data to support project development.
• Perform design calculations and investigative analyses to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) to develop design drawings.
• Review project plans and documentation for technical accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Help schedule and coordinate tasks to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to design reviews.
• Maintain organized project files and design documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
