Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington’s School of Public Health seeks a dedicated Student Services Generalist to support admissions, recruitment, and student engagement. You will work with SOPHAS back-end systems, CRM platforms, and accreditation reporting, ensuring smooth operations across programs.

You will collaborate with university partners, engage with prospective students, and assist during peak admissions seasons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced opportunities.
• 2+ years in student services, higher education, or related field.
• Proven communication and professionalism in office settings.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains graduate application back-end environments in SOPHAS and related programs.
• Uses CRM systems to support recruitment campaigns, emails, workflows, and engagement metrics.
• Collaborates on recruitment technology projects (webinars, forms, Canvas spaces).
• Generates routine/ad hoc admissions reports using Salesforce, Slate, WebAdMIT.
• Supports data entry/validation for accreditation and reporting.
• Creates and updates SOPs for admissions and recruitment processes.
• Provides application processing support during peak admissions (Oct–Apr).
• Responds to inquiries via email/phone and guides applicants through processes.
• Occasionally supports recruitment activities such as graduate fairs and outreach events.
• Interfaces with students, advising, and campus leaders to meet student services goals.
