Qualifications

• Must be a degree-seeking graduate student at JSU.
• Must be actively enrolled in a graduate degree program at JSU during the assistantship semester.
• If a new student, must be admitted to a degree program.
• Must be actively enrolled in required coursework towards the degree; assistantship does not pay for courses not in the degree plan.

Responsibilities

• Clerical duties include answering phones, mail handling, greeting students, updating calendars, scheduling room reservations, producing social media content, and coordinating with departments.
• Perform data collection and research for faculty and administrative reports.
• Organize data using spreadsheets.
• Review internship and practicum paperwork.
• Assist with grading papers and other duties as assigned.
• Additional duties as required by the department.
