Job summary

D&J Construction Company is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to support our highway construction and earthwork operations in Louisiana. Proficiency with dozers, trackhoes, and motor graders is required to ensure accurate grading and efficiency on-site.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of related experience, read grading plans, and be safety-conscious. Pre-employment screenings and a valid driver’s license are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, trackhoes, or motor graders.
• Ability to read and interpret grading plans and site layouts.
• Experience in highway construction, site development, or earthmoving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozers, trackhoes, and motor graders for grading, excavation, and earthmoving tasks.
• Read and interpret grading plans, blueprints, and project specs for accuracy.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and minor maintenance on equipment.
