Job summary

Whatcom County is hiring a Response Systems Supervisor to lead the GRACE program, coordinating services with federal, state, regional, and local partners to deliver effective community care.

This role involves supervising staff and volunteers, representing the County at public meetings, guiding policy and planning, overseeing budgeting, and ensuring data collection and analysis support program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
• 6 years of progressively responsible experience administering human services programs.
• 4 years of lead or supervisory experience.
• Current valid Washington State license to practice as LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or Psychologist.
• Experience working with housing or homelessness issues.
• Crisis intervention experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working with Limited English Proficiency communities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations and collaborate with partners to provide care systems.
• Supervise staff, contractors, volunteers, and interns on rotating schedules.
• Represent the County to stakeholders and act as a public spokesperson.
• Coordinate policy and planning for the GRACE program.
• Research and coordinate data collection and advanced analysis.
• Participate on the GRACE management team to meet department goals.
• Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and staffing level planning.
