Job summary

McAninch Corporation in Des Moines, IA is offering the 2027 College Internship in GPS/Project Management for May–Aug 2027. Interns will learn surveying basics, operate GPS gear to collect topography data in the field, and work with estimators on take-offs.

You'll gain hands-on experience with BlueBeam and AgTek for utility and grading take-offs, develop communication and problem-solving skills, and support project teams in a real-world construction environment.

Qualifications

• Current college student pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction/Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites required.
• US Citizenship required. This position is NOT eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities
