Job summary

Opus Group is seeking multiple Project Interns for the Summer of 2027 across Des Moines, IA, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN, Kansas City, MO, Phoenix, AZ and Denver, CO offices.

The interns will assist the Project Management team, support safety and cost-control efforts, and gain hands-on experience in construction management. Current students pursuing Civil/Construction-related degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work productively with others, solve problems independently, communicate effectively and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project correspondence and documentation
• Support economic and timely project completion
• Develop interpersonal and technical skills for project management
• Assist with and manage budget and scheduling monitoring
• Review RFIs, submittals, and design drawings with PM and site superintendent
• Assist with subcontractor bid process and change orders
• Support safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
