Job summary

Graham Construction, a 3G Company, offers a Field Engineer Intern position in Central Iowa for the summer of 2027. This field-based internship provides hands-on exposure to active construction projects, safety practices, and client communications.

Interns will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent, using Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Projects to document progress and support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in construction management or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate and document Safety Walks.
• Complete jobsite progress photos and reports.
• Update client on job progress via the Client app.
• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with duties.
• Promote and enforce safety policies.
• Create and present an intern project with other interns.
• Complete intern educational projects (e.g., estimating).
• Attend company events and safety meetings.
