Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director for Government Technologies to strengthen operations, finance, and project governance across nationwide GT initiatives.

You will guide the GT Operations Director, manage the Customer Care Team, align processes with contracts, budgets, and schedules, and drive improvements in fiscal control, service quality, and customer satisfaction while collaborating with branch offices and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field.
• 10+ years general management with 5+ years as a national program manager.
• PMP/PgM/CPP certification.
• Deep understanding of JCI systems and delivery methods.
• Knowledge of federal government procurement (FAR/DFAR/GSA).
• Strong project financial management skills.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and influence teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the GT Operations Director.
• Directly manage the GT Customer Care Team and ensure service levels.
• Establish and enforce best practices across functions.
• Support design and implementation of project management improvements.
• Supervise field installation activities to align with project goals.
• Lead corporate initiatives including process improvements and system rollouts.
• Coordinate with accounting, procurement, and supply chain to support execution.
• Participate in business development activities and proposal reviews.
• Manage internal and external audits related to operations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, branch offices, and subcontractors.
