Johnson Controls is seeking an Associate Director for Government Technologies to advance governance of national programs and field operations. You will lead cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and support, ensuring contracts, budgets, and schedules align with client expectations and quality standards.

The role emphasizes strong customer relationships, disciplined cost control, and continuous improvement while supporting audits and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field.
• 10 years of general management experience, including at least 5 years as a Program Manager of a national program.
• PMI PMP or PgM certification, or CPP.
• Deep understanding of Johnson Controls systems and delivery methods.
• Knowledge of federal procurement (FAR/DFAR/GSA).
• Strong project financial management understanding.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and influence teams to achieve results.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related tools.
• Willingness to travel <25% and align with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the GT Operations Director and drive organizational health.
• Directly manage the GT Customer Care Team and monitor performance and service levels.
• Establish and enforce best practices across sales, operations, and support.
• Support design and implementation of improved project management processes.
• Supervise field installation activities to align with project expectations.
• Implement corporate initiatives and new system roll-outs.
• Support training and ethics programs across the group.
• Lead and develop project teams in effective management practices.
• Assist with budget management to meet corporate targets.
• Coordinate with accounting, procurement, and supply chain to support execution.
• Participate in business development, proposals, and reviews.
• Manage internal and external audits related to operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, branch offices, and subcontractors.
