Job summary

Cisco is hiring for a role within the Webex Contact Center FedRAMP team to deploy and oversee resilient AWS and Kubernetes-based infrastructure. The position emphasizes automation, reliability, and security in a government-facing cloud environment.

You will work across engineering, security, and compliance to maintain production services, improve incident response, and document operational procedures. This role requires strong collaboration and on-call participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or Master’s Degree with relevant experience.
• Experience developing or automating software using Java, Go, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, production services, DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE in AWS.
• Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and IaC/automation (Terraform, Python, Bash, or Go).

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain AWS and Kubernetes-based infrastructure and microservices in a 24x7 production environment.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot incidents, and automate provisioning and repeatable operational tasks.
• Strengthen platform security and compliance by supporting IAM, logging, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and FedRAMP monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to identify risks and improve reliability, documentation, and runbooks.
