Cisco Systems, Inc. is hiring for a FedRAMP-focused Site Reliability Engineer to deploy, operate, and maintain AWS and Kubernetes-based infrastructure in a highly regulated government cloud environment.

The role requires strong automation, incident response, and collaboration with security, compliance, and engineering teams. You will work in a hybrid setup (2-3 days in-office) in RTP, NC or Boxborough, MA, contributing to secure, compliant cloud services for government customers and supporting

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering with relevant experience.
• Software development or automation using Java/Go/Python and testing.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and production services.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting in prod-like environments.
• Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, CI/CD, and IaC tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, operate, and maintain AWS/Kubernetes-based infrastructure and microservices.
• Monitor service health and troubleshoot complex incidents in a 24x7 environment.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning to improve efficiency.
• Support security/compliance activities including IAM, logging, and FedRAMP monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering/security/compliance teams and produce runbooks and incident reports.
