Job summary

Cisco Meraki is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support a Kubernetes-based platform in regulated environments. You will work with senior engineers to improve reliability, scalability, and compliance across the platform.

This hands-on role builds infrastructure for production operations, automation for efficiency, and contributes to CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response. Remote work is available, with involvement in on-call rotations and audits to meet FedRAMP High/IL5 controls.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Production Kubernetes experience and strong Linux knowledge.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code and scripting (Python/Go).
• Familiar with observability tooling like Prometheus and Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation, and operation of Kubernetes platforms in FedRAMP High/IL5.
• Maintain day-to-day reliability and performance of platform services including monitoring and alerts.
• Automate operations and tooling to boost efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate to define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Support audits and continuous monitoring for security/compliance.
• Contribute to IaC and CI/CD improvements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver platform capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations supporting customer requests and paging alerts.
