Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator-Contract Administrator to ensure contract and financial compliance on government and public-agency projects. You’ll collaborate with project teams, controls, accounting, and marketing to apply contract requirements and manage risk.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of transportation/public-sector experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook. This is an on-site role with travel and diverse project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, project management, finance, or related field.
• Typically 5+ years of experience supporting transportation or public-sector projects.
• Strong understanding of consulting contracts and financial compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contract and financial compliance with state and federal requirements across contracts and amendments.
• Track project cost performance and prepare month-end reports for management and clients.
• Coordinate with project controls/accounting to confirm invoices align with rates and contracts.
• Maintain complete, auditable contract and financial records per standards.
