Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a highly motivated Payment Sales Consultant to join our Government Banking team, driving growth, retention, and expansion of Treasury Management and payment solutions within a national government client portfolio.

Based in or near New York City or Philadelphia, you will collaborate with Relationship Managers and product partners to deliver strategic payment solutions and deepen relationships, traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10 or more years of sales experience in the commercial banking industry.
• Experience selling Treasury Management, payments, or commercial banking solutions.
• Ability to navigate complex organizations and engage senior decision-makers.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow payment solution revenue and deepen client relationships.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and line-of-business leaders to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.
• Consult with government clients on payment optimization, and treasury strategies.
• Present and position Treasury Management solutions including ACH, wire, cards, and merchant services.
• Lead the sales process from discovery through closing and implementation.
