Job summary

The Department of Children and Families seeks a Government Operations Consultant I in West Palm Beach to monitor case allocation and assist with recruitment for Family Safety roles. You will manage confidential information and coordinate with regional leadership, CSC, and Florida Abuse Hotline systems.

You will review investigations, assign cases, and prepare intake records for CPI, ensuring accurate FSFN updates and timely supervision notifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication.
• Ability to collect, record and analyze data to develop recommendations and improve practices.
• Ability to conduct meetings and make presentations.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
• Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor case allocation and assist with recruitment of job applicants for Family Safety positions.
• Receive, review and assign abuse reports from the Florida Abuse Hotline.
• Prepare intake case records for CPI and coordinate with FSFN and CPI supervision.
• Archive case files and maintain rotation and case logs.
• Develop and communicate program policies to regional staff.
