Job summary

The Department of Children and Families in West Palm Beach is seeking a Government Operations Consultant I to support Family Safety operations, monitor case allocation, and assist with recruitment for safety positions.

You will review abuse reports from the Florida Abuse Hotline, assign cases to Child Protective Investigators, maintain accurate case records, and provide clerical and administrative support to the Regional Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Two years of clerical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of effective communication principles and data organization methods.
• Ability to collect, record and analyze data to solve problems and improve operational practices.
• Ability to prepare reports and make timely decisions.
• Knowledge of basic management principles and understanding of applicable rules, regulations, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handles case allocation monitoring and recruitment support for Family Safety positions.
• Receives and reviews abuse reports from the Florida Abuse Hotline.
• Assigns cases to Child Protective Investigators and maintains records.
• Provides clerical and administrative support to the Regional Operations Manager.
