Job summary

State of Maryland is seeking a Government Modernization Initiative (GMI) Program Analyst to bridge data analytics with program execution in Annapolis. You will collect, assess, and visualize agency performance and procurement metrics while supporting project management activities.

You will translate technical findings into actionable change management plans, develop quantitative metrics, and collaborate with senior leadership across agencies to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university.
• At least two years of experience as a Data Analyst or Program Analyst, preferably in government or procurement.
• At least one year supporting one or more senior level managers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Deputy Director in problem solving and risk mitigation to achieve GMI goals.
• Bridge analytical findings with agency execution via change management and working groups.
• Translate technical findings into phased change management plans.
• Develop metrics and targets for projects and track progress toward targets.
• Serve as liaison between technical teams, fiscal officers, and program managers.
