Job summary

The GMI Data Scientist, appointed by the Governor, joins the Government Modernization Initiative to build scalable data pipelines and analytical models that support state projects in Annapolis, MD. You will work with GOPI leadership to extract, transform, and analyze data, test hypotheses, and inform policy decisions, delivering insights that improve service delivery and taxpayer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years in data engineering/science roles, preferably in public sector.
• Hands-on ML model development and deployment experience.
