Job summary

EY’s Government Contract Services (GCS) team seeks a Manager to lead engagements across the U.S. Government contracts lifecycle. You will supervise teams, analyze complex data, and deliver practical recommendations to clients navigating pricing, cost accounting, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll work on diverse matters including prevailing wage, audits, and process improvements, with strong emphasis on client service and cross-functional collaboration. EY offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, finance, business or related field.
• 5 to 8 years’ relevant work experience.
• Possess at least one professional designation (CPA, CFE, CFA).
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal regulations for government contracts and grants (FAR, CAS, DFARS, 2 CFR 200).
• Experience interpreting and applying labor standards regulations (SCLS, DBA/DBRA, IRA).
• Ability to craft technical responses to government audits and remediation requests.
• Previous client-facing experience and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements across the government contracting lifecycle.
• Manage workstreams and supervise team members.
• Analyze complex financial and operational data to develop practical recommendations.
• Assess compliance risks and respond to government audits.
• Improve processes for pricing, accounting, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and practice development.
