Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Business Development Leader to drive growth and adoption of cloud services within the US State & Local Government vertical for the Finance, Administration, Tax & Revenue domain.

This role defines and executes a go-to-market strategy across state and local authorities, departments, and back-office operations, leveraging AWS cloud capabilities to transform tax and revenue systems.

Qualifications

• Experience presenting to executive audiences (technical and non-technical).
• Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives across business and tech.
• 7+ years in finance, tax, or related analytics field.
• 5+ years in tax, finance, or related analytics field.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups.
• Experience with government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption.
• 3+ years of working directly with government officials.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and adoption of AWS services within the SLG Finance, Administration, Tax & Revenue vertical.
• Define and execute a go-to-market strategy for the public sector segment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tax, revenue, and back-office solutions.
