Qualifications

• Previous service as military or civilian contracting officer, acquisition officer, program manager, or acquisition professional.
• Experience with federal, state, and local procurement processes and contracting pathways.
• Demonstrated record of winning government contracts, pilots, or other funded work.
• Experience with software, artificial intelligence, data platforms, cybersecurity, or defense technology.
• Experience developing teaming relationships with defense primes, systems integrators, government contractors, and small businesses.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one if required for future work.

Responsibilities

• Own or coordinate the end-to-end capture and pursuit processes for government opportunities.
• Identify opportunities through portals, forecasts, agency engagement, partner networks, and direct research.
• Develop capture plans, map decision-makers, influencers, and procurement milestones.
• Lead or support customer discovery to understand mission needs and procurement requirements.
• Prepare leaders and teams for government meetings, capability briefings, and industry days.
• Draft and edit responses to RFI, sources sought, and capability statements; ensure timely submissions.
