Job summary

Draper, a nonprofit R&D organization in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Billing and Collections Analyst I to support government and commercial invoices, collections, and records accuracy. Qualifications

• Detail oriented and accurate in billing
• Experience with government billing and audits
• Able to meet tight deadlines
• Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of government billing regulations preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to support Government and Commercial customer bills (Cost Types, Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price, and Performance Based Payments)
• Timely produce and deliver customer billings for assigned contracts
• Perform collection of receivables
• Update customer interaction documentation to support collections
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues
• Develop collaboration with Contracts, Business Analysts, General Ledger, Program Finance, Programs, Accounts Payable
• Work under tight deadlines and in a team-oriented environment
• Communicate issues and updates to Manager
• Set up billing plans timely and accurately
• Other duties and projects as assigned
