Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Audit Director with state and local government specialization. The role is a fast track to partnership in a Progressive regional CPA firm, with a hybrid work environment and relocation assistance.

You will lead engagements, oversee audit teams, manage client relationships, and drive business development while ensuring compliance with GAAS, Yellow Book, and the Uniform Guidance. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior manager role.
• CPA license current and valid.
• Ability to travel to client and firm locations.
• Experience conducting audits in accordance with GAAS, Yellow Book, and the Uniform Guidance.
• Experience with not-for-profit audits.
• Involved in recruitment and interviews for Assurance and Advisory candidates.
• Ability to develop staff and lead multiple engagements.

Responsabilités

• Maintains contact with clients throughout the year and manages engagement workflow.
• Oversees engagement partner relationships and ensures deliverables meet standards.
• Supervises staff, reviews work papers and reports, and provides on-the-job training.
• Leads business development efforts and generates new client opportunities.
• Assumes lead role on prospective client leads, including fee estimates and meetings.
• Ensures billing and collection practices are followed per firm policy.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
