Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting with at least 2 years in a senior manager role.
• Significant public sector experience, including auditing state and local governments.
• CPA license currently held.
• Ability to travel to client and firm locations as needed.
• Proven ability to bring in new business for the firm.
• Experience auditing under GAGAS/Yellow Book, GAAS and Uniform Guidance.
• Exposure to not-for-profit audits and firm policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between partners, clients and staff across multiple engagements.
• Lead engagements, determine staffing and scheduling, and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Develop staff and participate in performance reviews and coaching.
• Lead on business development and client meetings, generating fee estimates.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure timely billing in line with firm policy.
• Provide SME guidance for governmental sector audits and training.
