Safariland seeks an Account Manager focused on U.S. Government, law enforcement, and the U.S. Military to drive sales of body armor, tactical gear, and related equipment.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with federal, state, and local customers, plus hands-on product demonstrations. The ideal candidate has government-focused sales experience, knowledge of procurement processes, and the ability to train distributor teams.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to U.S. Government agencies, law enforcement, or military customers.
• Proven ability to build long-term relationships with customers and distributors.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills to decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory revenue growth and meet KPIs.
• Build strategic relationships with government and military customers, and distributors.
• Deliver compelling product presentations and hands-on demos to agency decision makers.
• Train and support distributor sales teams to expand Safariland's reach.
• Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, logistics, and customer service.
• Attend trade shows and events to generate leads and partnerships.
• Manage test/evaluation samples and provide market intelligence.
• Maintain travel within budget and uphold Safariland's Code of Conduct.
