Job summary

Safariland is seeking an Account Manager focused on U.S. Government, law enforcement, and military sales to expand engagement with federal and local agencies. Remote work is possible with preference for the Washington DC area; travel up to 60% is required.

You will build relationships, deliver demos, train distributors, and manage pricing and logistics while collaborating with internal teams to meet revenue targets. Prior government or tactical equipment experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to U.S. Government agencies, law enforcement, or U.S. Military customers.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 60% of the time.
• Live near the Washington DC area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory revenue growth and meet KPIs.
• Build strategic relationships with U.S. Government agencies, federal, state, and local law enforcement customers, U.S. Military customers, and distributors.
• Deliver product presentations and hands-on demos to agency decision makers.
• Train and support distributor sales teams to expand Safariland's reach.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage pricing, logistics, and customer service.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and partnerships.
• Manage test and evaluation samples and provide market intelligence.
• Maintain travel expenses within budget and uphold Safariland's Code of Conduct.
