Safariland is seeking an Account Manager focused on U.S. Government agencies, law enforcement, and the U.S. Military to represent our tactical equipment and life-saving solutions.

This remote role prefers candidates in the Washington DC area and requires travel up to 60% overnight. You will build strategic relationships, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and guide distributor teams to expand Safariland’s reach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's in business or related field a plus.
• 2+ years of sales experience supporting U.S. Government agencies, law enforcement, or U.S. Military customers, including direct or distributor-based sales OR 5+ years of law enforcement, military, or government agency experience with tactical/procurement responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory revenue growth and meet KPIs.
• Build strategic relationships with U.S. Government agencies, law enforcement, and military customers.
• Deliver product presentations and demos to agency decision makers.
• Train and support distributor sales teams to expand Safariland’s reach.
• Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, logistics, and customer service.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and partnerships.
• Manage test and evaluation samples and provide market intelligence.
• Maintain travel expenses within budget and uphold Safariland’s Code of Conduct.
