Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read, write English and perform basic math.
• Experience with industrial cooking is preferred.
• Some experience with MS Office.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment with multitasking is needed.
• Ability to operate transfer pumps, electric can openers and other industrial kitchen equipment.
• Forklifts operation is a plus.
• ServSafe certification and cook certification training after year in position are required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute cooking activities per production schedule and with the Manufacturing Lead Cook.
• Cook and process product according to procedures and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area during and after shifts.
• Maintain accurate production inventory logs and records.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety, quality, sanitation, and SOP policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow GMP, HACCP and SOP policies and procedures.
