Job summary

OTL Restaurant Group is seeking an Expo to manage final dish presentation and ensure smooth dining operations. You will coordinate between the kitchen and front-of-house, maintain quality checks, and help deliver prompt service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Expo or food expediting role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food/drink to tables quickly and efficiently.
• Plate presentation: ensure dishes meet high standards for presentation, accuracy and quality.
• Communication: act as a liaison between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Quality control: final check on all dishes for accuracy and standards.
• Timing: coordinate with kitchen to ensure components are ready for service simultaneously.
• Expedite orders: prioritize and expedite based on customer preferences and order time.
• Problem resolution: address issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Cleanliness: maintain a clean, organized expo station.
