Job summary

Splendido in Tucson, Arizona is seeking an experienced Cook to support our culinary team and create high-quality meals from scratch for residents across our luxury senior living community.

You will work varied shifts, follow recipes, maintain HACCP standards, and collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional dining experiences while benefiting from competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety.
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and communicate with supervisors.
• Reliable, punctual attendance to support operations.
• Ability to work in a team with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food at designated times following recipes and HACCP standards.
• Plate and present portions with garnish, maintain food temperatures and freshness.
• Monitor menu items, notify Chef of shortages, and assist with production lists.
• Demonstrate proper equipment use and cleaning; keep storage areas organized.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organization of dry storage and walk-ins.
• Assist Pastry Chef with basic tasks and support the kitchen team as needed.
