Splendido is seeking a Lead Cook to guide the culinary team on the assigned shift, preparing high‑quality meals for residents and guests in Oro Valley, Arizona.

Lead with creativity, maintain HACCP standards, and deliver elevated presentations across à la carte, banquet, and rotational menus.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of cooking techniques and ability to follow standardized recipes.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• LobsterInk Level 4 certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a culinary team during assigned shift under Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine.
• Prepare quality food at designated times according to recipes and HACCP standards.
• Prepare portions and plate presentations with garnishment and monitor food temperatures.
• Check menu availability and notify shortages.
• Maintain sanitation and organize storage areas, report hazards.
• Minimize waste and follow daily production sheets.
• Assist with deliveries and storage organization; rotate stock.
• Support Pastry Chef with basic tasks if needed.
