Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, cloud engineering, or systems administration.
• Proven experience performing migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace (mail, calendar, contacts, and file data).
• Strong experience with migration tools such as Google Workspace Migrate, BitTitan MigrationWiz, or CloudM.
• Working knowledge of identity and access systems including Azure Active Directory and Google Cloud Identity.
• Experience migrating Exchange Online mailboxes, SharePoint/OneDrive data, and Teams environments.
• Strong understanding of email systems (SMTP, routing, DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell and/or Python preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot migration issues including data integrity, permissions, and sync errors.

We are seeking a part-time, remote Google Workspace Migration Specialist to lead and execute migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace. In this role, you will own migration projects end-to-end—from planning and data discovery through execution, troubleshooting, and post-migration support.

You will work directly with clients to understand their environments, design migration strategies, and ensure a smooth transition of mail, calendar, contacts, and file data. Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, cloud engineering, or systems administration

• Strong experience with migration tools such as Google Workspace Migrate, BitTitan MigrationWiz, or CloudM

• Experience with enterprise-scale migrations (500+ users)
• Familiarity with coexistence strategies and phased migration approaches
• Experience configuring and administering Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Admin Console)
• Knowledge of compliance, retention, and data governance considerations during migration
• Experience integrating or migrating third-party tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, SIS platforms)
• Google Workspace or cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Google Workspace Administrator)

• Strong project execution skills with the ability to manage multiple migration waves and timelines
• Clear communication skills for working with stakeholders, end users, and leadership
• Ability to document migration plans, runbooks, and post-migration support procedures
