Provo City is hiring seasonal laborers to perform work at the Timpanogos Golf Course.
Established in 1923, Timpanogos Golf Club is the premier public golf course in the State of Utah. As part of the Provo Parks and Recreation Department, Timpanogos Golf Club is honored to be part of one of a handful of premier Parks and Recreation Departments in the United States. The Provo Parks and Recreation department was recently named “Best of Utah” and received the National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Parks & Recreation Management.

What is the compensation?
Pay Rate: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending upon skill level and experience. Payment will be by direct deposit.

This is a part-time seasonal position for a fixed term from approximately February 20 – December 2, 2025. Actual schedule may vary throughout the season and will be coordinated with the supervisor.
What are the physical and environmental factors?
This position requires working outside in all weather conditions including rain, sun, and varying temperatures. This position may also require using equipment, bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, and lifting items up to 50lbs. May interact with members of the public in tense or hostile situations.
What is the selection process?
This is an open file posting. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted for any positions available at that time. They will remain on file for a minimum of 60 days. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed above to be eligible for consideration.
If selected for hire, the candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
