Job summary

The Houston Astros, LLC is seeking a Tournament Services Intern to support special events, pro-ams and executive operations for the Texas Children’s Houston Open and other Astros Golf Foundation events. This paid internship runs January 4, 2027 through May 5, 2027 and requires on-site work in Houston, TX.

You’ll assist with budgets, vendor coordination, and cross-department collaboration. Responsibilities include project tracking, preparing materials, coordinating meetings, and communicating

Qualifications

• Junior or graduate student in a related field between January and May 2027.
• Reside in/near Houston for January 4–May 5, 2027.
• Strong analytical skills and high professionalism.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, esp. Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support project management for event planning, tracking timelines and deliverables.
• Assist with executive-level administrative tasks and meeting coordination.
• Serve as primary communication point with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Manage event budgets and financial records.
• Provide hands-on support during the Texas Children’s Houston Open and other Astros Golf Foundation events.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth event execution.
• Organize confidential documents with discretion.
• Contribute to process improvements and gain exposure to high-level event operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
