Job summary

Houston Astros, LLC is offering a Sponsorship Relations Intern position with the Astros Golf Foundation during the Texas Children’s Houston Open and related events. The role supports sponsor communications, activation logistics, and delivering a high-quality partner experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced sports environment while working closely with the Manager of Ticketing and Sponsorship and other departments.

Qualifications

• At least junior level college/university student or graduate student in a related field (Sports Management, PGA Management, Hospitality, Business Management).
• Reside near Houston, TX area Jan 4–May 5, 2027 or willing to relocate at own expense.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Memorial Park Golf Course office and offsite locations.
• Desire to gain experience in professional sports and entertainment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proactive, team‑oriented work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activating sponsorship contracts and activation logistics.
• Manage partnership fulfillment, tracking deadlines and deliverables.
• Act as a second contact for sponsors and coordinate with teams/departments.
• Support Honorary Observer program during tournament week.
• Assist with annual proof of performance/recap reports.
